I really enjoy travelling. I've been lucky enough to go a lot of interesting places and see lots of great things. Mainly I lived in China on and off since 1997 (currently off). I've been to most places there and enjoy it very much. I have also spent time in many European countries. India, the Middle East, Africa, and South America are still on my list.

My approach to travel is that I like to spend at least a few months in one place. Preferably stay long enough to learn the language and culture. This is interesting but pretty time consuming. Currently I am only really familiar with the UK (of course) and China. But I've spent time in Holland, Lithuania, and Russia.

Spanish is the next language on my list, at some point I will take a year in somewhere like Chile or Argentina, to perfect my spanish and learn about the culture. I am interested in the big socialist movements happening across South America at the moment, I think they will be significant in the future. Perhaps I'll go to Venezuala.
